About COIPA

Central Oregon Independent Practice Association (COIPA) is comprised of nearly 600 physicians and practitioners within a 40,000 mile geographic area in Oregon who pay a yearly membership fee to maintain membership.

COIPA administration negotiates managed care (MCO) contracts on behalf of the membership, has developed a centralized electonic health records solution for members, and has obtained discounted and/or corporate rates on malpractice insurance rates, medical office supplies, office supplies, group health insurance and other areas that impact COIPA members.

COIPA sponsors coding seminars, conducts centralized credentialing processes for members, promotes evidence based medicine and maintains practice guidelines to help guide the medical decision making processes for COIPA providers.

COIPA administration is comprised of an executive director, an associate director, a medical director, and three credentialing staff members.
