About COIPA

Founded in 1992, Central Oregon Independent Practice Association (COIPA) is comprised of nearly 670 physicians and practitioners within a 40,000 square mile geographic area in Oregon who pay a yearly membership fee to maintain membership.

COIPA administration negotiates managed care (MCO) contracts on behalf of the membership, has developed a centralized electronic health records solution for members, and has obtained discounted rates on malpractice insurance, medical office supplies, office supplies, group dental insurance and other areas that impact COIPA members.

COIPA sponsors seminars, conducts centralized credentialing processes for members, promotes evidence based medicine and maintains practice guidelines to help guide the medical decision making processes for COIPA providers.

COIPA administration is comprised of an executive director, a medical director, a health quality program director, an office manager and a credentialing manager.

Our Vision
