Central Oregon Electronic Medical Records, Inc. (COEMR): In 2005 COIPA set out to develop a centralized electronic medical records solution for its members. In February 2006, COEMR Inc. was formed by COIPA to implement, train, support, and install electronic medical records in COIPA member offices. The COIPA EHR Selection Committee chose eClinicalWorks, a fully integrated practice management and electronic medical records system. Installations began in July 2006. Concurrently COIPA is working on development of a Regional Health Information Organization in partnership with other healthcare leaders in Central Oregon and the Columbia Gorge.
