COIPA has operated as a Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) in Oregon for over ten years. Our clients include hospitals, surgery centers, health plans, federally qualified health clinics and our local volunteers in medicine clinic. Our greatest strength is our ability to provide excellent and personalized customer service to our clients and to the practitioners whom we credential. It is our priority to protect the confidentiality of the information we collect from practitioners. Our second greatest strength is that as an Oregon company, we are very familiar with Oregon regulations, geography, healthcare issues, licensing agencies and other issues that affect Oregon based healthcare entities, practitioners and patients. We see and understand that credentialing is only a piece of the puzzle that delivers quality healthcare in Oregon, and we strive to provide the best credentialing services that we can to ensure patient safety while protecting the organization in which patient care is delivered. Our third greatest strength is our focus on efficiency. We understand the frustrations practitioners encounter during the sometimes arduous credentialing process. Our staff is dedicated to eliminating redundancies and working directly with the practitioners to make the credentialing process as easy as possible.
